It’s crazy how things change. What’s crazier is also how they haven't. In just the span of a decade, the video production scene in Sarawak has blossomed so colourfully. It feels like yesterday that we were just playing with cameras, exploring this industry that had not yet matured in our local community. Back then, the only way we could learn anything was through books and the internet.
There weren’t any leading industry players in Sarawak. You couldn’t list more than a company or two to cobble together a video production. That’s why we’ll never forget one of our first regional collaborations with Passion Pictures, a Kuala Lumpur-based video production company. We were asked to shoot their Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) footage of a seasonal commercial they were producing for Malaysia Airlines.
We’ll never forget the absolute awe of witnessing all the different departments work together so seamlessly. Everyone had their role from the roaring director to the hustling production assistant.
It was undoubtedly one of the most memorable eye-opening experiences we’ll ever cherish. Through it all, it taught us one of the most important foundations in video production: WORKING TOGETHER AS A TEAM
It completely changed the way we did everything. We knew if we wanted to take that step towards professional videography, running and gunning with a handful of cameramen wouldn’t cut it anymore. We had to rethink how we coordinated our teams for camera, lighting, wardrobe, etc.

Ultimately, we learned how to grow our family and how to cooperate. We know none of us could be where we are today, being able to do what we love, without the hard work and support of one another. All we know for sure is that together… ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
